Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Our school debating group welcomes students in Years 4-6, offering them a chance to enhance their public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills! Each week during lunch, students will explore the essential elements of debating, such as using evidence, persuasion, and rebuttal, and engage in tailored activities to practice these skills. Additionally, selected students will have the chance to represent Caddies Creek Public School on our debating team, competing against other schools.
Dance groups
Students have the opportunity to participate in weekly dance practice, held during the first half of lunch. Being part of a dance group allows students to build confidence, develop performance skills, and learn choreographed routines.
Dance groups perform at various school events throughout the year, showcasing their talent and teamwork. Our current groups include Kindergarten, Stage 1, Years 3–6, as well as a dedicated Boys Dance Group.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Eco Crusaders
Our School has developed a strong culture of sustainability through the dedicated efforts of a group of students and teachers. The Eco Crusaders have taken their sustainability message to the wider community, with students showing that sustainability is not just a school responsibility but a collective one. The students at CPPS are paving the way for a more sustainable future, showing that even small actions can lead to significant changes.
