Primary Writers
Students in Years 4 to 6 will be provided with the opportunity to write stories, poems and stories. Students are invited to apply for the Primary Writers group at the beginning of the year. Students meet once a week to write and share creative ideas. Primary Writers have several opportunities to submit their work to writing competitions, including:
· Dymocks Beyond Words
· Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Prize
· Poem Forest
· Whitlam Institute: What Matters?
· WriteOn
Authors feel a sense of pride when their writing is appreciated by others. Our students have won national writing competitions and others are published authors with their work being featured in books.
